1. Order Processing

• All orders are processed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and UK public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

• You will receive a shipping notification email, including tracking details, once your order has been dispatched.

• All purchases are posted securely in a padded envelope or box for extra protection.

 

2. Domestic Shipping (UK)

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Customers can choose between our services offered by Evri and Royal Mail.

FREE SHIPPING OFFER: Orders of £50 or more within the UK qualify for free standard shipping.

 

3. EU Tax and Duties

All EU Orders: VAT is included and paid at checkout.

From 1 July 2026, the EU has removed the €150 customs duty exemption. A flat-rate customs duty of €3 per unique product type (6-digit HS code) applies to all B2C imports from outside the EU. For example, an order containing two different product types may incur €6 in customs duty.

From November 2026, an additional EU regulatory handling fee of approximately €2 per shipment is also expected to apply.

Customs duties and any carrier handling fees are the buyer's sole responsibility and may be collected upon delivery.

Import Duties & Taxes — United States & Canada

All orders shipped to the United States and Canada are delivered on a DDU/DAP (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis. BD Crystals ships from the United Kingdom, and your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges, and/or carrier handling fees upon arrival in your country.

These charges are determined by the relevant customs authorities and/or carrier and are the responsibility of the recipient. BD Crystals has no control over these charges and cannot guarantee or predict the amount that may be payable.

United States: Since 29 August 2025, the United States has suspended duty-free de minimis treatment for imports from all countries. Consequently, applicable duties, taxes and fees may be charged on shipments regardless of order value.

Canada: Canada's duty-free threshold is CAD $20, meaning most orders may therefore be subject to duties, taxes, and/or carrier handling fees upon arrival. Carriers may also charge separate customs clearance or handling fees.

We recommend checking with your local customs authority and/or carrier if you have questions about potential import charges before placing your order.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that additional import duties, taxes and/or carrier fees may be payable upon delivery and are the responsibility of the recipient.
